At 772 we are committed to surrounding our athletes with experienced, passionate coaches who are dedicated to teaching the game the right way while creating a positive, competitve, and supportive environment.

Carmelo "Melito" Eleutiza
Co-Club Director/ Coach
Carmelo “Melito” Eleutiza brings over 25 years of coaching experience at the Club, High School and Collegiate level along with the professional league in Puerto Rico. Carmelo started playing volleyball at the age of seven, and eventually played at the collegiate level with the Interamericana University in his homeland of Puerto Rico. He comes with a strong volleyball background in Puerto Rico including six USAV Girls National Championships with Arsel Volleyball Club. Carmelo was the former head coach for the City of Toa Baja, P.R semi-professional volleyball team, where his team earned a 53-16 record in his first two years and an undefeated season in his third year along with claiming the semi- professional league championship. He then moved on to the professional ranks where he was an assistant coach for the Captains of Arecibo and Llaneras of Toa Baja in the Puerto Rico Girls Professional Volleyball League. Carmelo has coached at the collegiate level here in the States as well. He was the former Head Volleyball & Softball Coach at Bluefield State College in West Virginia (NCAA Women’s Division II). He was an assistant for University of Central Florida (NCAA Div. 1) in Orlando and is now the current Head Coach of Eastern Florida State College (NJCAA Div. 1) in Melbourne Florida. He has also had much success at the club level in Orlando and Vero Beach area. Carmelo established Champions Volleyball Club in 2006-2008 and was the Co-Director for Top Select Volleyball Academy. In 2013 he started working Orlando Volleyball Academy (now OTVA). Carmelo was the Facility Director of North and coached for both North & South locations. He started the OTVA North location with 5 teams and now has the facility up to 19 teams. The growth of OTVA North and the club had a lot to do with Carmelo’s hard work, dedication and ability to teach the game of volleyball to all levels of players. In 2019 Coach Melito and his wife moved to Vero Beach and helped establish Vero Elite Volleyball Academy as Co- Club Directors. At Vero Elite the program started with 3 teams and he helped it to grow to 15 teams. For the past 7 years Melito ran an exceptional program emphasizing on proper volleyball technique and opportunity for all that put Vero Beach on the club volleyball map! Throughout his club career he has 10 National Titles in the Open level and was named AVCA Club Coach of the year in 2016.
Olivia Groody Eleutiza
Co-Club Director
Olivia Groody Eleutiza brings over 10 years of coaching experience at the club level. She has been playing volleyball since she was 15 years old. She started her career at St Thomas Aquinas High School located in South Florida. Her Junior year of High School her family relocated, and she transferred to Vero Beach High School where she continued playing varsity volleyball. Olivia accepted a scholarship to play volleyball at the collegiate level at Palm Beach State college in West Palm Beach. She played Outside hitter and Defensive Specialist.
While she studied and played in West Palm, she also began her club coaching career at Palm Beach Juniors. When she began coaching, she learned how much passion she had for the game and truly enjoyed developing athletes into better players and helping them understand the game. Olivia moved to Orlando and began working for Orlando Volleyball Academy (now OTVA) in 2012. Olivia was the Assistant Facility Manager, Office Manager, and coach for the North Facility in Oviedo. She was also the Billing Manager for all 8 locations of OTVA at the time. She also was an assistant coach at the South (main) facility. She was with the North location from the start and has contributed to the growth and development of the location. Her customer service and marketing skills have helped create a strong volleyball culture in the Oviedo area. In 2019 Coach Olivia and her husband moved to Vero Beach and helped establish Vero Elite Volleyball Academy as Co- Club Directors. At Vero Elite the program started with 3 teams and she helped it to grow to 15 teams. For the past 7 years Olivia's excellent organization, customer service and true passion for her athletes/families created a family environment and exceptional program to be remembered. Throughout her club career she has qualified numerous teams throughout her coaching career at OTVA and won 1 National Championship title.
Heather Magelssen
Coach
Heather is the current Head Volleyball Coach at Vero Beach High School and has 20+ years of experiencing in coaching woman’s volleyball. Prior to coaching the Lady Indians, she was the Director of Dead Frog Volleyball Club from Kalamazoo, Michigan and coached teams from 12U-18U throughout her decades with the club. She spent the last five years as the head volleyball coach of her high school alma mater and five previous seasons as the head coach at East Kentwood High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She began her coaching journey at the freshman and junior varsity levels as well as an assistant varsity coach learning from her father, Jack as he created a legacy in the state of Michigan by winning 10 state titles, numerous Michigan High School coach of the year awards and in 1994 was National Coach of the year. Heather was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan where she began her volleyball career winning 3 Class A State Titles, was the First-Class A (four time) 1st team All-State setter, 3x AAU & USAV All-American and Michigan Gatorade Player of the Year. She continued her volleyball career setting for the Hoosiers at Indiana University and then for Western Michigan University where she earned Most Valuable Player recognition. Heather graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Family and Consumer Science.
Maria Rentas Correa
Coach/ Private Lesson Instructor
Maria Rentas-Correa, a native of Juana Díaz, Puerto Rico, brings over 15 years of volleyball experience as both a former high school and collegiate student-athlete and now as a collegiate coach. Maria currently serves as the Assistant Volleyball Coach at Indian River State College. Heading into her second season at The River, she has played an integral role in the program’s success on and off the court. During the 2025 season, Maria helped lead the team alongside Head Coach Erin Ergle to its first appearance in the FSCAA Division II Tournament since 2021. Under her guidance, student-athletes have achieved numerous individual honors, including multiple selections to the 25 Dig Club, FSCAA Defensive Player of the Week, NJCAA National Defensive Player of the Week, and recognition on the FSCAA All-Conference and All-Tournament Teams. Beyond competitive success, Maria is passionate about developing well-rounded student-athletes by emphasizing academic excellence. Under her leadership, the volleyball program has earned the highest team GPA in the entire athletic department for Fall and spring semester & winning the Skull award for the 3rd year in a row. Reflecting her commitment to fostering success both in the classroom and on the court. Before joining Indian River State College, Maria served as the Graduate Assistant Volleyball Coach at Cedar Crest College in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where she spent three seasons helping develop student-athletes both on and off the court. During her time at Cedar Crest, Coach Maria earned her Master of Science in Integrative Science in May 2025. On the court, she helped guide the Falcons to a 21–7 overall conference record, capturing the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Championship and securing a spot in the NCAA Tournament—both for only the second time in program history. In 2023, she led the team to its first SKYE Divisional title and a runner-up finish in the United East Conference Tournament. Under her leadership, athletes earned more than a dozen conference and regional honors, including Rookie of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Division Player of the Year, multiple Player of the Week selections, and Academic All-District awards. Her program also maintained a team GPA of 3.4 or higher and ranked top 5 in four key statistical categories within the conference. Coach Maria began her collegiate coaching career in the fall of 2022, following her playing career at both Alcorn State University in Mississippi and Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida. While at Alcorn State, Coach Maria was active beyond the court. She was a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success and served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). A two-time honoree on both the President’s and Dean’s Lists, she graduated in Summer 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Pre-Physical Therapy. At Eastern Florida State College (2018–2020). As a freshman, she ranked 19th in the state in assists per set and earned FCSAA All-Academic Team honors in back-to-back seasons. She received her Associate of Arts degree in May 2020.
Dylan Frederick
Coach/ Private Lesson Instructor/Sports Performance Trainer
This upcoming season Dylan has accepted the Second Assistant Coach Position with Eastern Florida State College Women's Volleyball team, where he will also be running the Strength and Conditioning program. Dylan began playing volleyball in the 7th grade in the Chicagoland area where he competed with Ultimate Volleyball Club 14s-18s, as well as at Joliet West High School where he was a 4 year varsity starter. After high school he competed for 2 years at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Mo. He continued playing on men's teams in the open division before beginning his coaching career. For the first 9 years he's coached at Illinois Performance Volleyball starting at the 13/14s division until becoming the 17-1 coach the past 3 years. During this time Coach Dylan also was the girls Sophomore coach at Neuqua Valley High School for 2 years and finished last fall as the JV Head coach, as well as the Naperville Central Boys Volleyball Varsity Assistant also the past 3 seasons. After relocating to the Sebastian area Dylan spent the last year coaching at Veva as well as being the JV coach at Sebastian River High School.
Hadley Mendez Mussler
Coach
Hadley Mendez Mussler is the current Assistant Coach at Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball program in July of 2024.
Coach Hadley has been in the game of volleyball for most of her life. She attended Chipley High School where she set school records as well as won several accolades for her sportsmanship and dedication to the game. Throughout her high school career, she played on a nationally ranked club team out and lettered all four years earning multiple scholarship opportunities ultimately deciding to play at Toccoa Falls College. Hadley has over 10 years of coaching expierence at multiple levels of play. She operated FCA Elevate Club Volleyball since its inaugural 2020 season until spring of 2025 when she stepped away after deciding to focus on her family and her future career in coaching at the collegiate level. She joined the Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball program in July of 2024. Coach Hadley loves the competitive culture of club sports and notes that her desire is to coach athletes at all levels into being the most well-rounded athlete and individual they can be, pushing them to do all things with excellence. As she continues to assist Coach Melito at Eastern Florida she is excited to be supporting 772!
Seth Brassard
Coach
Seth began playing volleyball as a sophomore in high school and continued competing through his senior year. After moving to Florida in 2016, he rekindled his passion for the sport by playing both indoor and beach volleyball. In the fall of 2020, Seth began his coaching career at St. Edward’s School, where he helped lead the program to three district championships, the school’s first-ever regional championship, and a State Runner-Up finish. From 2020 to 2026, he also coached at Vero Elite Volleyball Academy, working with athletes ages 12–18 and helping players develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game.
Matthew Valentim
Private Lesson Instructor
Matthew is the current Head JV coach and Assistant Varsity Coach at John Carroll High School. began his volleyball career in Miami, Florida, eight years ago. He had played high school volleyball for three years and club volleyball for four years. Matthew moved to Fort Pierce, Florida in 2020 and discovered VEVA while looking for gyms where he could play volleyball again. Previously was the Head Coach of Vero Beach High JV. And he is the previous assistant coach at Sebastian River High School. Matthews love for the game and focus on the importance of technique has helped athletes grow into high level players.
Samantha Killane
Coach/ Sports Performance Trainer/ Private Lesson Instructor
Samantha was born and raised in Fort Pierce, FL and started her volleyball career at 12 years old. She went off to play division II volleyball in upstate NY where in her senior year won her conference championship and went to the NCAA tournament. Samantha has been coaching for 5 years and has coached all ages and skill levels. In her free time, Samantha enjoys staying active by playing beach and grass volleyball, as well as spending time in the gym. Samantha has her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Sports Science with a minor in nutrition, she is also Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), with extensive knowledge of exercise technique, movement mechanics, and performance training. Her expertise allows her to coach with proper form, enhance athletic performance, and reduce injury risk.
Emily Goette
Coach/ Sports Performance Trainer/ Private Lesson Instructor
Coach Emily has been coaching volleyball since she moved to Florida in 2022 and is passionate about helping every player reach their full potential. Drawing on her background in education and her current work in strength and conditioning, she brings a unique perspective to the court that focuses on both skill development and athletic performance. Emily believes in progress over perfection and is committed to developing the athlete as a whole person, not just a player, emphasizing character, confidence, and resilience alongside volleyball skills. She loves being part of the 772 family and values the strong sense of community it creates for athletes, families, and coaches alike.
AJ Mussler
Coach
AJ Mussler has been coaching competitive coaching competitive volleyball for 5 years. Before 772 he coached at FCA Elevate. AJ played college baseball and enjoys the competitive nature of volleyball. AJ has been married to his wife Hadley for 10 years and they have three children, Ivy, Asa, and Mia. AJ is looking forward to coaching with 772 and encouraging athletes to reach their full athletic potential.
Omar Guevara
Coach/ Private Lesson Instructor
Omar started playing volleyball his junior year of high school at Vero Elite open gyms since they were the only gym open due to covid. Two years later after graduating he began coaching Middle School ball at Saint Edwards and club at Vero Elite Volleyball Academy. He became the head JV coach and assisted Seth at Saint Edwards to a State Runner Up finish. At VEVA he’s coached from the 15s-17s ages and specializes in developing confidence, skills, and is a strong personality on the line.
Emerick Dayton
Coach
Emerick started playing volleyball in 4th grade following in her cousin’s footsteps. In middle school, she was always on the lowest team, and going into high school she was on the freshman team. Once she started playing club volleyball the summer going into her sophomore year, she worked really hard by taking private lessons and practicing a lot, which led to her making the varsity team her sophomore year. She continued working hard with a personal trainer and taking private lessons during club season. This eventually led to her being actively recruited by colleges, and she ended up committing to play volleyball at Eastern Florida State College on an athletic volleyball scholarship.
Sarah Henault
Coach
Sarah played her freshman and sophomore years at Eastern Florida State College before transferring to Southern Connecticut State University, where she completed her junior and senior seasons.
She has three years of coaching experience with i9 Sports, served as an assistant coach for FCA's 17U team, and most recently was the head coach for Nova's 16/17U team during the past club season.
Pamela Reeves
Coach
Pam played Division III volleyball at Cabrini College in Pennsylvania. She began her coaching career with the boys' volleyball team at Penn Wood High School, where she coached for two years, before serving as the girls' volleyball coach at Neumann College for two years.
Since 2021, Pam has been the head coach at Storm Grove Middle School, leading the program to two undefeated seasons and three district championships. She is entering her third year coaching alongside Melito and Olivia.
